Grandfather

It was back then when he was just a 11 yrs old kid
When he just only attended a normal ordinary engagement on a Saturday
It was a day after the writer's birthday and some how it didn't bothered him much
And the writer doesn't get attach to anyone easily..
To be frank that was the first time he really went inside the house and be with uncle through out the ceremony.
The adults were talking about marriages and engagement took place
The writer was basically was in his world of his own, no phones no gameboy, nothing!

The next day, his uncle brought his fiancee to the church
and the writer and his brother accompanied his uncle to his fiancee's house
As we arrive there, we were warmly welcomed by uncle's in laws.
Seriously huge family tree, Sometimes the writer wonders why doesn't he have the chance to have many siblings...
However, that's the 1st time the old man comes out, very stylish man, Hair being dyed to black

So he asked the writer's uncle whom are we
And the uncle explained..

"Oh wow! I'm officially a grand father"

Those words still linger in the writer's mind
And his hospitality towards us was amazing..
He made sure we ate till the fullest
Talked to us as if we were his grand sons

There was a year when he celebrated his anniversary in Pandan Lake club
The anniversary took place as if it was all wedding once again
And the writer sat with his cousins and his brother..
Came one of his sons and said
"Dei, Tata is calling you.. Better go to the main table and eat at there.. Not my instructions but his"
So it was a stunner where he's a man who had alot of relatives and friends...
He could easily call up any of his old friends or relatives but instead he chose me to sit beside him at the main table...
It was a talking point in that function where people tend to asked who is this kid..

As we grew up older,
He used to advise me about life
And he used to talk about numerology as he was quite good in it
When ever we see him anywhere, he will always say
"My Grandson! Come over here" and also introduce me to his relatives as his grand son

Eventhough the writer had his own grandfather who's in banting,
But he was never as close as how he is with this man..
Years gone by and just somewhere last year when the writer just told his grandpa
"Tata, you know something, So many years i've known you but not even once we took a picture together"

He answered "Hahahaha Come come grandson, picture only right"

Snapped pictures and that was the last diwali i saw him...

The saddest part was the writer remembered him saying

"Get married soon Grandson.. I want to see my great grandson before i leave"

Few months down the road, he received a call saying that he past away..

No words can describe how down was he...
How painful is that a man who was close to him
And yet he's just gone...
It still hurts him badly..
Sometimes when he goes for their family function,

He somehow can sense that his old man is still around
But he smiles cuz he's in a better place

Rest in Peace Grandfather... We shall meet on the shore someday!

Mother..

Some of them treat mother as goddess
Some kids treats their mom well as they are more closer to the mothers
Well? How about u?
For the writer,
He's just a 50-50 person
No doubt people can say many things..
Oh you should be grateful and etc..
true enough! Appreciation is there
But there's one thing the writer always fear
If the person is not there anymore...
Have you actually thought what if your mother is no longer with you?
The writer himself has experienced certain of his friends who their mother passed away
And the aftermath?
Few scenarios
When the writer was std 3,
He clearly remembered his class mate name Rajesh Kumar
The writer don't know how his mother died but however
The writer could only remembered that he became a "9"
For those who don't know "9" is, it's like a woman soul trapped in Male's body.
Till today, the writer has no clue what or where is this fellar could be
Another incident happened somewhere 3 yrs ago
Where his friend from same college but different course
Apparently her mom died of breast cancer
The writer only met her mom once
And the next year she passed on
The Aftermath,
The writer's friend was totally depressed
And till today
He prays that she would get out from that depression
Knowing how close was the relationship with mother and daughter.
Apparently she even flunked some subject's
Not the same college as the writer but in a different college.

The writer believes not all of them are the same,
Some folks can be very bold and strong
Some even just cover up with their usual mask
But the writer respects those who are actually accept the fact that they are no more around... Like mind tells you to move on... Don't care about what happens now but think about the future...

Let's change

Have you ever dreamt about waking up as another person...
Like.. A whole new different person
A person who is the total opposite of the current you(not changing gender)
Seems easy but it's hard right...

Well let just say that the writer just had to do some changes in his life
It's not easy but he sometimes thought that being good at times pays off...

How shall the writer put it?
It's kinda hard to explain certain things..
On why people change.. Or why they even think about doing some changes...
Some guys says cause of woman they change...
And the girls just use the other way around...
If it was for something bad to good.. The writer is pretty sure that many people would support along the way especially friends...

However...

If it was good to bad.... It's something to ponder about..

What the writer went through seems a lil unfair towards him... He felt he mingle around with ladies alot.. He respects them.. But yet certain people just declares him as womanizer.
Even recently, he just feels that he's like a rebound to certain people.. forgotten while they are in midst of happiness and when they are sad.. they don't know who to go to and they end up texting the writer as if they don't feel it's a lil awkward to text the writer after long duration.

Do you know what it pist off people at times? What every fat guy that treats a woman right.. like they always wanted... and they (woman) always end up with a "Punch" dialog.. A dialog which clearly indicates that you're friendzoned for life...That's it! full stop!

Seems a lil hard to take it right.. What if you actually spend so much of time being with her or him... Making sure she's/He's in good shape where her/his useless douche duffle bag of her bf/gf treats her so crappy... It's not that the writer is sad or whatsoever.. he feels very dissapointed at times..

The writer wished that she could see a clearer picture that the bf of hers is not the one for her.. writer knows problems raises and stuff like that as couples.. but you don't insult your partner.. that's all i'm saying.. As they say.. A tongue is sharp as knives.. It doesn't stab u physically but mentally as well...After all people fall in love not seeing their body sizes or whatsoever thing u call it.. But via the mutual understanding and so many criteria comes along the way...

Cases like this sometimes makes the writer ponder... Is it so bad to be the good one? You listen to their stories and things change along the way...
You know what... I'm sure many of you have watched the video below.. Watch it and enjoy it..

If you're in this situation.. It's up to you to change.. But as the writer thinks..

It's time for him to change..

Who should?

Somewhere a month ago...
While the writer was sippin his whiskey in a club

Where his brother was in the midst of seeing stars..

While he was minding his own drinks and listening to heavy bass music..
A woman he knew came close and sat beside him and she wasn't in her usual mood..

Being a gentleman, he asked her what's wrong?

Her facial expression says that she shouldn't ask a guy who's younger than her
But somehow she just asked...

It was a question which the writer himself wouldn't expect from that particular scene
"Who Should Propose first"?

For the writer..he was like... Both also can mah..

It's weird that these days even females are afraid to propose to a guy..

Seriously come on... What's wrong if a woman wanna propose to a guy that she always dreamt off and etc..

Not all guys can read woman's mind.. If they can read...Holy shit!!!

So as the writer.. He always believe that woman can change men's mind set...

For an example

Woman eventhough they are at fault... they can even make the men itself to apologize...

If a woman itself can make this why not they can implement this in their love stories...

I don't know about rest of the men out there, would they want a woman to propose or not.. personally the writer don't mind if a woman loves him and she wanna propose to him... what would be the worst case scenario??? Being friends!!!

Chinese New Year..

People in Malaysia looks forward for holidays...
For one reason.. Holidays!!
True enough.. But As Malaysian, do we really celebrate it??

However the writer looks forward for Chinese New Year..
Knowing he's an Indian Guy.. But what's the harm in celebrating it?
Call him mad or watsoever, He actually looks forward for chinese new year..
All the Yee Sangs,

All the oranges... Even though he doesn't take em...
Everything will be red and gold!

And not forgetting the Angpaws being received from certain people who treats him as family

The thing which writer doesn't understand is that

Why doesn't many people really celebrate Chinese New Year??
In sense which people goes house visiting and so on..
No Doubt where they don't actually serve u food and they tend to gamble on that special occasion!

Can't blame them right...

But who cares...
Ask the kids these days " Have you been to a Chinese House on a New Year day?"
Answer will be "NO"

Why people are being so held up to the kids...
The writer used to be so excited when comes to open houses
(Eventhough he has attended one in Banting by the minister)

It's all about culture is the writer is concern about..
Does the Kids know the history of the Lion Dance..
Or have they even seen a Dragon Dance??
Or even seeing these dudes performing ontop of the huge logs!

As the writer grew up,
He had few chinese neigbours..
Even though the angpow may not be as big as he thinks..
But the thought that comes...
The writer always remembers each and every uncles and aunties who actually given him those angpaws...

The writer just understood Chinese New Year as a new year..
But not as a concept where people long lost relatives get back together..
And have one happy Meal and so on...

But.. When he was a teenager,
His mom and dad used to buy clothings and gifts for the contractors family...
We grew up as if it was like christmas.. Sharing gifts...

Yesterday...
After years of culture of visiting their house for CNY

The contractors wife was so glad we actually came by...
We have nothing muchh..
Just drinks and voila...
Exchange gifts...And not forgetting the angpows!

Its about time when the writer and his mother left the house...
The contractor's wife hugged him as a motherly hug...
And in the car, the writer's mom told him...
"Did you know that we are the only ones who are close to her at the moment"
Writer was stunned...

"What about her family and stuff like that.. Tak kan she got no one" writer kept on driving..

"It's not about family... It's about how you treat them...How much we care for them.... Have you ever see their sibling visiting them" " And i quote you this... She even said that You and ur brother are like brother's to Jun Men (Jun Men is a Down Syndrome Kid who is 19 yrs of age)

"And you do realize where she it self doesn't expose him to many people other than us"

The writer sense that we were like part of her family....

Tears of broken heart

I have given all my love to you, but what do I get in return?
A broken heart.
I have given you my heart, and you stomp on it like a doormat.
I have given you my youth and you took advantage of my un-experienced heart and played with my emotions.
I gave you all the trust, but you misused it.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt, and you proved everyone right.
I gave you my life and you killed me day by day.
I want to pull my aching heart and tear it piece by piece, So I no longer love you.
I want to loose my memory so I no longer think of you.
I want to go so far so I no longer have to see you.
I want to cry but I no longer have any more tears to fall down
my sad lonely face.
I want to sleep but my dreams haunt me with you in them.
I can’t seem to find a way out. What do I do?
I don’t want anyone to see this not even you.
How do I get out of this?
How do I stop this misery? How do solve this mystery?
I can’t seem to find anyone to make feel the way you do,
The way you look at me,
the way you say my name,
the sound of your voice when you tell me that you care.
I love you so much I think I’m going to die from this pain that haunts day and night.
How can forget you? If the only love I know is you.
How can I move on? If life is not the same with out you.
I want to brake free and move on but I think I’ll be doing something wrong.
I just have to close my eyes and let things fly and let the days pass me by

Michael Jackson

It's weird for him to write about this post
But however it was a weirdest dream of all time
Dreaming about Michael Jackson...

Seems weird right
But however it seemed real
As he dreamed when he was a kid
When Michael Jackson came down to Malaysia in year 1995
And he even remembered asking his dad for permission to go for it
As you know the answer is always a NO from Indian Parents...

It was a dream which took place 18 yrs ago and it just came back in flash

It has been two days since the incident happened
And he still wonders why this dream.. A freakish one just suddenly came once again

:/

Is it wrong to tip?

This topic has been goin on for ages in Malaysia
Should we tip or not?
I always sometimes wait for any writer to write about it in newspapers
Rather than Politics and so on

It's amazing where certain places they don't encourage you
And certain places they ask you to do tip them by force
For example in USA.. They will ask you to tip them 40% of your bill

If the bill was 100 bucks.. you gotta tip them USD 40!

Debates being goin on, in school nor in colleges about this topic

And there's pro's and con's

The Pro's i say
  • Staff will be motivated to work even harder
  • Based on the tips being received he or she gave that perfect service in terms of food being served, hospitality and also many criteria
Well about the Con's

  • Staff would fight over customers as this goes based on number of customers being served
  • Un fair pay as certain people might get lesser one another
  • Staff will tend to be money minded at times and try to demand more

These are the few highlights being pointed out during debates, however my point of view is that
Tipping shouldn't be establish by force

But however people should tip these guys in moderate manner

Why???

Let me give you a break down on a 2 star staff salary in Kuala Lumpur..

Their Basic would be somewhere around 600-700

And then the rest goes according the point quota system.

So basically i'm just giving a round figure of Rm 1700..

Seems alot right?

OKie.. Let's say Astro is around 100 bucks per month, then comes in ur rental for room in KL which is Rm700 at least, then your daily expenditure of food per day RM 15( a nice comfortable meals)

700+100+450=1250

This is not even including ur internet which now days we can't live without and also mobile prepaid or even line..

So just imagine ur self spending 450 per month eventhough you work day and night... Don't u think it's ridiculous... Obviously people would look for money...

I had bad experiences... I would do anything so that i would see money in my wallet. eventhough i used to live with my parents but never the less i had to spend on petrol and also car maintenance

I had to do taxi businesses in order for me to get some extra pocket money...

If night shift.. yes i would make some money.. but not that much.. most to most 50 bucks per night..and if day time... sometimes nil!
That is only taxi

Another method i used to do but i don't really like it is that i had to sell woman...

Who ask for it???

Guest only..
Can't say no alsoo!!
Have to give nyyy!
Pricing??
Hahahahha... Ask me in person i shall tell you

So at 1st i didn;t want to do
but desperate times.. you have to do it..

Eventhough i do feel pity for the ladies
But who am i to them..
Sometimes i do talk with them.. eventhough they look like rowdy i say
But as people say.. Treat them well and they will tend to treat you well..

Conclusion of it?
At the end of the day..
It's up to you
Cuz for malaysians, we are paying the 10% tax
However.. Dear Malaysians!!!
If you feel that person really did a very good job
Please tip them and say
" This is for you and only you!"

You know why??

Certain organizations they practice to share out their tips which i feel it's wrong at times
You work ur ass off and u share your tip with other??
Dafuq!!!

Even i practice that too...
Tip them once.. And you will see the amount of different it can make During ur stay in hotels
Or even in regular restaurants that you go for...
